Year 1

Our aim is to ensure that your children experience a smooth and positive transition from the Foundation Stage into Key Stage One. The Year 1 curriculum builds upon and extends the learning experiences that children have had in Reception.As the year progresses, children are gradually introduced to more structured and formal learning so that they continue to develop their independence, confidence and key skills.
