Year 2

Welcome to Year 2. This is an exciting and important year for the children as they continue to build on the knowledge and skills developed in Key Stage One. Throughout the year, pupils will grow in confidence and independence as they take on new challenges across the curriculum. We aim to create a positive and supportive learning environment where children feel encouraged to try their best and develop a love of learning. Year 2 is also a significant year as the children will complete the Key Stage One SATs, which are used to help inform teacher assessments. We approach these in a calm and supportive way so that children feel confident and prepared. If you have any questions or concerns at any point during the year, please do not hesitate to speak to us.
