Year 4

Welcome to Year 4. This is an important year in Key Stage Two as children continue to develop their knowledge, skills and independence across the curriculum. Throughout the year, pupils will be encouraged to challenge themselves, take pride in their work and develop confidence in their abilities. We aim to provide a supportive and engaging learning environment where children can build on their previous learning and continue to grow both academically and personally. In Year 4, children will also complete the Multiplication Tables Check, where they will demonstrate their knowledge of times tables up to 12 × 12. We work with the children throughout the year to help them feel confident and well prepared. If you have any questions or concerns at any point during the year, please do not hesitate to speak to us.
