Year 5

Welcome to Year 5. This is an exciting year in Key Stage Two as pupils continue to develop their knowledge, skills and independence across the curriculum. Throughout the year, children will be encouraged to take greater responsibility for their learning, challenge themselves and develop confidence in their abilities. We aim to create a positive and supportive learning environment where pupils feel motivated to work hard and take pride in their achievements. Year 5 also helps to prepare pupils for the challenges of their final year of primary school. We focus on developing strong study habits, resilience and teamwork, while continuing to nurture a love of learning.
