Remote Learning

As we begin a new academic year, Covid 19 is still very much around us and it is a case of learning to live with it. As many adults have been double vaccinated, the threat isn’t as serious, however the threat is still very much there.
Although we no longer need to close bubbles and self-isolate if we are identified as a close contact, there are still going to be times when children are identified as being Covid positive from a PCR test and will need to remain at home as stated in the current guidelines.  If children are positive but asymptomatic, our online Remote Learning offer will begin on the second day of school being notified of their absence.  If your child is poorly as a result of a positive PCR test, the Remote Learning offer will still be available but only if and when they are feeling up to it.

As a school, we have produced detailed plans for remote learning so that children will have access to a high quality education at home.

The main source of communication between the teacher and home when learning remotely is taking place via Seesaw. Please ensure that you are able to access your child's Seesaw account and let their teacher know if you are unable to access it.
